The Contest is open to all college-bound, high school seniors who submit an essay application through a Chapter of the Fraternity. The essay must be original and neither previously published nor secured by copyright. The essay must be between 700 and 750 words in length. The type-written, double-spaced essay.

EngineerGirl Writing Contest Every year, the EngineerGirl website sponsors a contest dealing with engineering and its impact on our world. The topic and detailed instructions for the contest are posted in the fall with a deadline for submissions early the following year.
Thank you to all students and teachers who participated in the 2020 Profile in Courage Essay Contest. Winners, finalists, semifinalists, and honorable mentions have been notified. All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation and a letter announcing the winners and finalists by the end of May.
Congressional Seminar Essay Contest for High School Students. This essay contest is a major project of The NSCDA held under the auspices of the Washington Workshops Foundation, a private nonprofit educational program in American government for high school students.
The Connecticut Bar Foundation is pleased to announce the Twentieth Annual James W. Cooper Fellows Quintin Johnstone Essay Contest. The contest is open to all Connecticut students under the age of 21 who are enrolled in grades 9-12, or their equivalent, at an accredited high school, vocational-technical school or adult high school credit diploma program located within the State of Connecticut.
The essay contest is open to high school students as well as students enrolled in two-year and four-year colleges and universities and graduate school programs throughout the United States. Applicants who are 17 years old or younger will need to provide parental consent to enter.
